 Kalahasti
is an ancient temple dedicated
to Lord Siva. Kalahasti
Temple is located in the
Chitoor district and is
about 4-5 hrs drive from
Chennai. It is connected
well by road to Tirupati
as well, Tirupati airport
being the nearest airport.
It’s a common practice
to organize a one day
trip to Tirupati, Tirumala

generate considerable
revenue for the town.
